I usually don’t share music. I feel shy about sharing music I enjoy, not because I feel embarrassed by my tastes, just that music taste feels deeply personal like sense of humor or sexuality, but I’m gonna share anyway because this is old school awesome!
I heard Jon Bellion’s All Time Low on the radio and feel in love with it, it’s got lots of layers of melody and sound, the lyrics really hit me too. “I’ve tried to fix my pride but that shit’s broken, that shit’s broken.” I feel that way right down deep right now, anyway… very cool. I went to Youtube to re-listen before I download the song from itunes, and discovered that the songs also come with lovely album art-song concept art! It’s so colorful and whimsical and it’s a story I want to “read” or rather hear. I’m totally going to listen to the rest of the album. Aparently the artist David Ardinaryas Lojaya and Jon Bellion are offering an artbook for the album! It makes me so happy and reminds me of my Dad’s record collection from the 60’s and 70’s with the rad album cover art. Good stuff!
