note-a-bear:

Oh. Well. Glad they caught that slip up in time

My eyes can’t even roll as hard as I need them to.

Ok, but are they going to prosecute him?

A judge has ruled that there is probably cause to charge both of them (my post: http://pathofneedlespathofpins.tumblr.com/post/121300646101/judge-rules-theres-evidence-to-charge-cleveland ), but I don’t think anything actually been done in court yet.  But this story means they may be gathering evidence to sue both the officers and the police department.  Judges and lawyers do tend to prefer to get it all done at once, especially in high-profile cases like this one. It does have to go to a grand jury first (if it isn’t there already), and they will decide if there is enough evidence to continue to trial.

fingers are crossed.

He needs to be prosecuted for murder I could see the  department getting in trouble for neglegence too since they’ve openly confessed they messed up big time.
